Since its inception in 1931, the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra has participated in the musical tradition of providing outdoor, community entertainment. In the days around the 4th of July, our all-professional orchestra performs in a variety of community settings.

Gather your friends and loved ones, grab blankets or lawn chairs, and join us for at least one of the concerts in our FREE Summer Concerts Series.

Food truck vendors that will be in attendance beginning at 5 p.m.: Sugar Whipped Baker, Sirro's Italian Ice, Uncle Jerry's Kettle Corn, His & Herr's, and Hresko’s Bar-B-Q Pit.

The HSO summer concert at LVC is a rain or shine event. No tickets are needed for the outdoor performance but tickets will be required if the concert is moved indoors for inclement weather. Tickets for Lutz Recital Hall in Bertha Brossman Blair Music Center are first come, first serve. The decision to move the performance indoors will be made on Friday, June 30 by 3 p.m. Please reserve your indoor seat by pre-registering.
