Meal Plan/Program Options

Returning Resident Student Meal Plans
LVC’s meal plans offer students more choices for dining with Flex Dollars options. Flex Dollars can be used just like cash at any of our dining locations (Mund Dining Hall, InterMetzo at Lynch, the new café at Arnold Sports Center, and Dutchmen Den located in Yuhas Commons). Additional Flex Dollars can be purchased throughout the semester from the Culinary Office in $50 increments. Flex dollars transfer from fall to spring semester. Any flex dollars remaining on your account after the spring semester will not be refunded or transferred to the following academic year. Please call Amy Hartman at 717-867-6850 for more information.

*Resident first-year students can choose from the Gold Plan, or Silver Plus, Silver Extra, and Silver Extra Plus.

Details:
Meal plans start with brunch on Sunday and end after dinner on Saturday. Any meals remaining on the student's meal plan after dinner on Saturday do not carry over to the next week. Students are allowed one entrance per meal period. Guest passes are intended to be used for off-campus friends and family members; they cannot be used for LVC commuter students. All meal plans and I.D. cards are non-transferable.

Bag Meals
If a student is unable to eat a particular meal in one of the dining facilities because of their schedule (e.g., student teachers), they can sign up for a bag meal with the line service personnel. This meal is deducted from the student's meal plan.

Alternative Meal Option
Student groups can arrange for picnics or special meals outside of the regular dining locations. Please contact the Conference Services Office at 717-867-6310 one week in advance of the event. Students who sign up for the special meal exchange will not be admitted to the dining facilities for that meal. This meal is deducted from the student's meal plan.

Special Diets
Most medically-indicated diets ordered by a physician can be provided. Please contact the General Manager for Dining and Conference Services at 717-867-6314.
