Mission

The digiCOM department seeks to develop students who think critically and creatively in a
constantly evolving field. The department subscribes to liberal arts ideals and integrates courses
in the fields of Design, Business, Communications, and Programming for life-long learning.
Through an emphasis on problem solving and team-based collaboration, students will apply
principles and methods of human centered design and of digiCOM’s different fields to the
creation, storage, analysis, processing and delivery of information in a flexible curriculum that
stays abreast of emerging media.
