Community Service
Preparing for a Life of Service to Others
The Office of Community Service and Volunteerism directly supports the College's mission "to prepare students for a life of service to others" by (1) providing LVC students with incentives for service and (2) organizing opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to serve together.
Certainly, service is its own reward. Additionally, LVC provides encouragement by granting three community service awards-bronze, silver, and gold-which may be included in one's personal profile on LVC's Job Center. Let prospective employers know that you are someone who cares about the community!
Should you need help planning a community service project, feel free to contact me at fullmer@lvc.edu or (717) 867-6135.

Finding Opportunities for Community Service at LVC
Detailed information regarding upcoming events is available via our Facebook page under LVC.
Visit https://www.facebook.com/about/groups/schools, search for Lebanon Valley College, and add yourself to the school. (An lvc.edu email is required to register.) Then, join the groups "Community Service" and "Volunteerism" (for on-going opportunities) within the school organizations there. (Look for the paintbrush logo.)
Clicking on the "Events" tab within the group will reveal a chronological list of service opportunities with some additional detail.
