This summer program is sponsored by the National Science Foundation and Department of Defense. The novelty of the site is that students will learn how to integrate computational techniques into their repertoire of problem solving skills to be more effective in the laboratory.

$3300 Stipend plus travel and housing expenses. Applications received after March 3, 2008 will not be considered.

The Endocrine Society offers Summer Research Fellowships to encourage promising undergraduate students, medical students and student's entering graduate school to pursue careers in endocrinology. The Society provides each student recipient with a $4,000 stipend to participate in research projects under the guidance of a Society member for 10 to 12 weeks during the summer.

The marine science internship program will take place at the University of Delaware's College of Marine and Earth Studies Hugh R. Sharp Campus in the resort community of Lewes, Delaware.

Students between their junior and senior years will receive preference. Interns will work with faculty and research staff in a graduate student atmosphere on a research topic in chemical, physical, or biological oceanography, marine biology, marine geology, or marine biochemistry.
