In addition to new faculty, the College will host a half-day workshop titled "Teaching the Writing Process Course" for all faculty who teach Writing Process and Critical Thinking through Writing courses on Monday, August 22nd, 2016. This workshop will look at student perceptions of writing when they enter college, how this is connected to their view of knowledge, ways that we address this in the classroom/curriculum. We will then discuss the conferencing process and applicable techniques that faculty have used in the past to help students to view writing as a process.
