Record of Graduate Success
Lebanon Valley College graduates have
achieved a consistent record of success in completing the transition from
college to their careers. The liberal arts experience at LVC is highly
versatile, preparing graduates for roles in a broad variety of areas, from
corporate and entrepreneurial careers to the professions, to public service.
The College conducts an annual Follow-Up
Survey of the most recent graduating class within 6-9 months of graduation. This
annual report is released to all college personnel in April-May each year and
posted within the College’s portal.
Over the past three years (classes of 2007,
2008, 2009) an average of 74.8% of graduates responding to the survey reported
being employed full-time or part-time with an average of 61% reporting
employment in career-related positions. Additionally, an average of 32% of
graduates responding report being enrolled in graduate/professional school and
another 2% report further undergraduate or specialized study. Typically about 1% of graduates report
involvement in military service.
Current students and other interested parties
may contact their faculty advisor and/or the Office of Career Services for
additional information related to the job titles, hiring companies/organizations/school
districts, and graduate schools selected of recent Lebanon Valley College
graduates.
