Most of our services and resources for current students are also available and helpful to alumni, especially recent graduates.
Suggested Resources and Services
June 2016: The Center for Career Development is excited to
announce our partnership with Handshake, the ultimate career network for
students. As of July 1, 2016, Handshake will replace JobCenter to become your
one-stop-shop for launching your career.
Handshake offers many exciting new features, including:
- Personalized job recommendations based on your
major and interests
- An easy way to register for and attend career
- Managing your on-campus interviews with top
- Scheduling appointments with your career counselors
Alumni in class years 2012-present will be transitioned into
the new system automatically. We will preload your profile and you will be able
to access your Handshake account in July. To learn how Handshake can help you
find your dream job, visit Join Handshake. For alumni who graduated in 2011 and
earlier, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
and we will assist you in preparing an account on Handshake. You can also visit Join Handshake after July 1, 2016, to register for a new account on your own.

Tools ranging from resume critiques to interview advice and webshops to finding employment opportunities, even internationally, are available.
Feel free to take advantage of our career fairs, workshops, programs, and events.
What We Can't Do
We cannot provide extensive one-on-one counseling for experienced professionals. We also are unable to "place" individuals into positions.

Register yourself and/or your employer in Handshake. Introduce your company, organization, or school district to potential future employees.
