This half day intensive seminar will focus on enhancing cultural competency in all functional areas of a global organization, especially among those who work most closely with foreign customers, suppliers, partners, and shippers on a daily basis:
Topics Include:
- Customer service as a Global Key Strategic Differentiator
- The Total Product Experience
- Cutlure's impact on business behavior
- Cultural Competency as it differs from cultural awareness or cultural understanding
- Developing the tools: Categorizing Cultures (for 'The Skill of Anticipation')

About the Presenter:
Treva Clark is a regular presenter for the WTC and an assistant professor of business administration at Lebanon Valley College. Hailing from the western Pennsylvania town of Everett, Clark has a bachelor's degree in psychology and marketing from York College and an M.B.A. in international business from Loyola University of Maryland. She is a doctoral candidate in international development at the University of Pittsburgh. With more than 16 years experience in multinational organizations, Clark is an expert in international market development and cultural competency. She worked to grow international business for Global Guidance, Inc. and Compaq Computer Corporation. At LVC, Clark teaches organizational communication and international business management.
