Tara Lansing '14
Zing Recording Studios, Westfield, Mass.
Zing Recording Studios is a professional and commercial recording facility whose goal is to help musicians bring their own unique and artistic vision to life. Lansing is working with recording engineers that have done work for some of her favorite bands, including Killswitch Engage, August Burns Red, and A Day to Remember. She is observing, working on recording techniques such as microphone placement, and gaining a better ear for quality control in the recording process. Soon, she’ll be behind the board working with the engineers she admires.

Brianna Steinitz '14
Big Machine Label Group, Nashville, Tenn.
Steinitz will intern this summer with the A&R (Artist & Repertoire) department of Big Machine Label Group. She is excited to be working side by side with the country music artists she admires, and will gain valuable experience in and exposure to full record company operations. This internship will be another push toward her career goal in artist development.

This summer, history & political science major Mary Yost will be completing an internship with the British Embassy in Washington, D.C.
