New York On-Your-Own Bus Trip

LVC alumni and parents can bring up to four additional guests for a day of exploring the Big Apple during this popular getaway. Bus departs LVC at 8 a.m. and leaves New York City at 7:45 p.m. Enjoy more of the city with tickets to a one-of-a-kind, optional, excursion to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular featuring The Rockettes. A limited number of tickets are available for the 4 p.m. show. Cost: $50 per person, Bus and Christmas Spectacular Admission is $125. Register

Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Debra Chasnoff is Lebanon Valley College's visiting Woodrow Wilson Fellow. Chasnoff’s highly acclaimed documentaries address youth and bias issues. Her most recent film, "Straightlaced—How Gender’s Got Us All Tied Up," explores the gender and sexuality pressures teens and young adults face. Other award-winning films include "It’s Elementary—Talking About Gay Issues in School," "Let’s Get Real" (about bias and bullying), "That’s a Family!" (supporting youth growing up in diverse family structures), and the Academy Award-winning "Deadly Deception—General Electric, Nuclear Weapons and Our Environment." Chasnoff’s first film, "Choosing Children," explored the once unheard of idea that lesbians and gay men could become parents.
