Monica Venturella, admission counselor, emphasizes the supportative nature of LVC

Monica Venturella, ’17, Elizabethtown College

Monica may be new to the LVC community, but she is no stranger to its values of hard work and active involvement. As a student at Elizabethtown College, where she obtained a degree in psychology, she was a peer mentor, a college tour guide, and tutor. She was also a writer for the school newspaper, a DJ on their school radio station, editor-in-chief of JayCrew Magazine, an E-motion dance club member, and a freelance graphic designer. She chose to work at LVC for many of the reasons our students have chosen to be Dutchmen, which is the welcoming community we call home.

"I also love how town is a few feet away so you can easily go off campus to see a movie or to grab a bite to eat without needing a car. My favorite spot on campus is the Mund Center because it is always full of students and activity."

On The Road: Monica will visit schools in the Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia areas that include Allegheny, Centre, Washington, Frederick, Carroll, Baltimore, Harford, Cecil, Montgomery, Howard, Anne Arundel, and Loudoun counties.
