Admission and Application Information

Students apply to the college and indicate Physical Therapy as their first choice major. Admission to Lebanon Valley College is a prerequisite for a seat in the 6-year direct admit physical therapy program. Approximately 50-60 students are accepted to the program as freshmen, after completing high school. Students with bachelor's degrees may also be admitted to the Physical Therapy Program prior to the start of the professional phase of the curriculum, depending on space availability. Prospective students are always encouraged to visit Lebanon Valley College during one of our many visit opportunities to explore their interests in pursuing a physical therapy education at LVC.

Students applying as freshmen may apply either as an Early Decision candidate or for Rolling Admission. The deadline for Early Decision is November 1 for a December 1 decision. Early Decision is a binding agreement which will reserve a place in the class. Submission of the application, supporting school documents, and all required Physical Therapy Program application materials must be received by November 1.

The remainder of class seats will be determined during Rolling Admission. For Rolling Admission, submission of the application, supporting school documents, and all required Physical Therapy Program application materials must be received by February 1 for a March 1 decision.

Prospective students should review these essential requirements prior to applying to the program. Requests for accommodations should be made to the department after the student is accepted.
