Lebanon Valley College's Department of Business and Economics presents Fulbright Scholar Dr. Holger Hinz for the annual Fred Springer Lecture Program in International Business Management Tuesday, April 23 in Zimmerman Recital Hall. A meet and greet session with Hinz will begin at 5 p.m. followed by his lecture at 6 p.m.

Hinz is professor of finance and director of the International Institute of Management at Flensburg University in Germany and currently Fulbright Scholar-In-Residence within the Lebanon Valley College Department of Business and Economics.

Hinz will discuss the significant differences between the German and American systems of higher education. His argument, a refinement of a lecture he presented at his alma mater, Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, will cover topics of the education system in general.

The Springer lecture program was endowed by Fred and Margaret Springer in 1987 in honor of the education their daughter, Margaret (Meg) Timmons, received while a student at LVC. For additional information concerning the Fred Springer Lecture in International Business Management, contact David Rudd, chair, Department of Business and Economics, at 717-867-6109 or rudd@lvc.edu.
