Patrick Andy Band to Perform World Gospel Concert at LVC
11.06.13 |

The Patrick Andy Band will perform a world gospel concert at Lebanon Valley College on Friday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. in Miller Chapel. Cassondra Diaz '14 will perform an opening act. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door.

Born and raised in Madagascar, Patrick "Andy" Andriantsialonina began playing guitar and bass at a young age. He soon earned recognition from Madagascar's most prominent artists and began a faith-filled musical journey to Paris, Switzerland, and ultimately New York City, where he formed The Patrick Andy Band. Andy plays bass, Ivory McDonald covers vocals, Eli Menezes plays guitar, and Harry Vaughn covers the drums.

According to Andy, the band's music is "a mixture of the rhythms from Madagascar that I grew up listening to, along with rock, jazz, and many others styles that I was introduced to in New York."

The concert, showcasing the band's unique style, will include familiar worship songs, and songs from the band's 2010 album "JOY."

Presented by the LVC Office of Spiritual Life, the Patrick Andy Band performance is part of the Chapel Concert Series. Advance ticket orders for groups of 10 people or more are $6 per person, and church youth group tickets are $4 per student. Admission to the shows is free to LVC students with their college ID. For more information or to order tickets, contact LVC's Office of Spiritual Life at 717-867-6135 or email Natalia Smith at
