Lebanon Valley College to Present 42nd Annual Juried Art Exhibition
04.01.13 |
The Suzanne H. Arnold Art Gallery is proud to showcase the art of the region in the 42nd Annual Juried Art Exhibition at Lebanon Valley College. The deadline for submission is March 23; the show opens with a reception on Friday, April 5, from 5–7 p.m.

This LVC tradition will feature a variety of paintings, drawings, sculptures, assemblages, and photographs. With over 200 entries submitted each year, this highly competitive show demonstrates the range of talent among regional artists. The show is comprised of work submitted by artists around the LVC community. However, other participants from distant locations also submit work.

This year's juror will be Michael Clapper, M.F.A., associate professor of art history at Franklin & Marshall College. Clapper's historical art research has focused on popular art, and he enjoys painting representational still life pictures in oil.

For more information visit www.lvc.edu/gallery.

Gallery hours are Wednesdays from 5 to 8 p.m.; Thursdays and Fridays from 1 to 4:30 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and by appointment for groups. Schools and other organizations are encouraged to contact the Gallery for a guided visit. The Juried Art Exhibition closes April 21.
