03.07.14 |
Singer/songwriters Dan and Lauren Smith will lead a worship concert in Miller Chapel at Lebanon Valley College at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 14. The time will include songs from their most recent album, "The Revive Project." Opening for the concert is LVC student Corey Robert and his wife, Sarah Robert.

Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door. Advance orders for groups of 10 people or more are $6 per person and church youth group tickets are $4 per student. Admission to the concert is free to LVC students with their College ID.

Since meeting at Eastern University over eight years ago, Dan and Lauren Smith, who serve as worship leaders at Reading City Church, have released four acoustic albums. They are currently working on writing and producing their latest project set to release in late 2014. Their music may be previewed at their website,

The couple indicates that they will donate all proceeds from the sale of "The Revive Project" CD to local charities.

"Worship at Reading City Church is innovative, cutting-edge and spirit-filled," says Katlyn Jumper, an LVC student who helps to coordinate the Chapel Concert Series and serves on the leadership team of student-led worship at the College. "I'm looking forward to learning from the worship experience."

LVC student Corey Robert and his wife, Sarah, will open for the Smiths. A graduating senior studying music business at the College, Corey Robert started writing music with Sarah over three years ago. They have released two albums: "After You" and "Oil to Fire."
