| LVC to Host Fulbright Scholar Dr. Holger Hinz |

Lebanon Valley College and the Department of Business and Economics are pleased to announce that Dr. Holger Hinz, professor of finance at Flensburg University in Flensburg, Germany, will complete a semester in residence at LVC in spring 2013. His visit is sponsored by a grant provided by the Fulbright Scholar in Residence Program.
Hinz will teach two undergraduate classes in finance in the Department of Business and Economics, deliver the Fred Springer Lecture in International Business Management, and be available for other activities on and off campus. Additionally, he will work with the Dr. Joerg Meindl and the German program within the Department of Languages. Finally, as part of the Fulbright grant proposal, Hinz will deliver a program for the World Trade Center of Central Pennsylvania.
Hinz completed his bachelor's degree in accounting at the University of Indiana while competing in intercollegiate gymnastics. He completed his graduate and doctoral studies in finance at Kiel University in Kiel, Germany, where he currently resides. He has more than 26 years of corporate experience in addition to his academic career.
He is currently a professor of finance and chair of the finance program at Flensburg University, has taught at virtually all levels of the academy at Kiel University, Flensburg University, and has served as a visiting scholar as the University of Cape Town in South Africa and Penn State Harrisburg. He has extensive experience in executive education including regular assignments in Indonesia, at Leuphana University in Germany, and in the Metropolitan University of London Program in Hamburg.
