| Governor Tom Corbett to Speak at Lebanon Valley College |

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett, LVC class of 1971, will speak at Lebanon Valley College on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 5:30 p.m. in a free and public presentation in Miller Chapel. Corbett's address is part of the College's fall HAPPINESS Colloquium series.
Corbett was sworn in as the 46th governor of Pennsylvania in January 2011 and was honored with LVC's 32nd Annual Founders Day Award in the same year. He completed his undergraduate education at Lebanon Valley College where he earned a bachelor's degree in political science and met his wife, Susan Manbeck Corbett '72. While a student at LVC, Corbett was a member of the lacrosse team, a lifeguard, and a member of Phi Lambda Sigma-a social fraternity founded in 1867.
HAPPINESS is a year-long integrated series of guest speakers, roundtable discussions, films and courses that will consider the meaning and importance of happiness as a psychological, physiological, social and cultural phenomenon. It involves presentations by speakers from a number of disciplines who approach the theme from the standpoints of the arts, the wellness of body and mind, the demands of a consumer economy, the expectations and duties of political life, and the broad philosophical questions of human flourishing.
