Destination Graduation a One Stop Shop for Graduation Preparation
03.03.14 |
Lebanon Valley College seniors and master's and doctoral degree candidates will have a "one stop shop" for graduation preparation at the March 12 Destination Graduation event in Mund College Center. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Mund's Lobby will be overtaken by graduation resources where students can purchase their cap, gown, and hoods; order a class ring, diploma frame, and graduation announcements; complete all paperwork for the Financial Aid and Registrar's Offices; and make a pledge to the Class of 2014 Gift Drive.

Additionally, the Offices of Career Services and Alumni & Parent Engagement have teamed up to present a professional portrait session. From 11 a.m to 2 p.m., students are invited to have a professional headshot taken. Students will have instant access to the photo, and computers will be available to upload the photo to a LinkedIn or MeritPage profile. Career Services staff will be on hand to provide information about creating a compelling online profile as graduates prepare to enter the workforce or graduate school.

Alumni, parents, and master's degree candidates are also invited to the Professional Portrait and Networking Reception from 5 to 7 p.m. These guests will also have the opportunity to have a professional headshot taken and receive tips to make their online profiles stand out from the competition, as well as expand their connections through the LVC Global Network

Graduation regalia can also be ordered online. The last day for ordering is Wednesday, March 12, and payment is due on pick up at the College Store after April 8. Please visit the Commencement website for more information about Destination Graduation and the 145th Lebanon Valley College Commencement.
