195 Alumni Donors Shatter “Hats Off to 144” Goal
05.15.13 |
In honor of the 144th Commencement at Lebanon Valley College, the College challenged 144 new alumni to make a gift in any amount to the College by May 11 to show their support of long-standing tradition, excellence, and accomplishment at LVC. LVC alumni responded with excitement and generosity going above and beyond the goal! Hats Off to the 195 alumni who chose to support the mission and goals of Lebanon Valley College by making a gift.

Alumnus Laura Shifflett tweeted after making her gift: “So proud to support my alma mater through a donation to The Valley Fund. Hats off to the incumbent 144!”

Shifflett and the other 194 new donors join more than 2,200 alumni who demonstrated their gratitude and passion for the Valley through philanthropic support this fiscal year since July 1, 2012. This group showed the Class of 2013 that there are generations of graduates who have come before them who support their endeavors and are proud to be LVC alumni. Their generosity fuels innovative educational programming and student scholarship each and every day.

The Hats Off to 144 campaign benefited The Valley Fund, LVC's annual fund, which supports the College's greatest and most immediate needs including: scholarships and financial aid, faculty and academic support, student life, and campus enhancements. Virtually every aspect of life and learning at LVC is impacted by gifts made to The Valley Fund.
