Celebration of Faculty Scholarship & Pedagogy Highlights Work of LVC Faculty
02.18.14 |
During the week of February 16—22, 37 members of the Lebanon Valley College faculty will have work on display in the new book area of Bishop Library. The works include the following types of scholarship and pedagogy created during the last year to present: articles (both journal articles and website articles), books (this includes book chapters and forewords written by faculty), conference papers, presentations and posters, manuscripts, music compositions, and works of art.

In addition to the display, two special events recognizing this work will take place during the week. First, on Feb. 19, an Innovation Forum will include presentations by Dr. Cathy Romagnolo, Venus Ricks, Dr. Kathleen Tacelosky, Mat Samuel, and Dr. Matt Sayers. The forum will highlight select projects funded by the inaugural President’s Innovation Fund. On Feb. 20, a Faculty Scholarship Reception in Bishop Library will celebrate the varied work and include two presentations. Justin J. Morell will present a lecture titled “Subjects and Complements” and Megan Potteiger will present “The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning: Using Results to Inform Teaching Practice.”
