“Girl Code” Comedians Carly Aquilino and Jamie Lee to Headline End of the Year Bash
11.13.13 |
Comedians Carly Aquilino and Jamie Lee will perform at Lebanon Valley College as part of the End of the Year Bash on Friday, Dec. 6. The show will be the last of the Friday Night Comedy Series and will begin at 9 p.m. in Arnold Sports Center. Admission is free and open to the public.

Aquilino and Lee recently teamed up as cast members on the MTV series “Girl Code.” Debuting in April 2013, “Girl Code” is a female-driven comedy series that features candid discussion about the wonder and woes of womanhood.

Aquilino, who is described by audience members as “funny” and by her father as “a huge mistake,” began her stand-up career at the Gotham Comedy Club. She currently performs at the most popular clubs in New York. In addition to starring on “Girl Code,” her work is featured on Sirius XM radio.

Lee, a semi-finalist on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” appeared on TV Guide’s “Stand Up in Stilettos” and on Vh1’s “Undateable” and “Greatest Songs of the 00s.” In addition to performing, Lee has written content for MTV ‘s “Ridiculousness” and “The Midnight Show with Pete Holmes.”

Sponsored by the student programming board, the fall 2013 Friday Night Comedy Series at Lebanon Valley College included performances by four comedians, a mind reader, and a magician. The series will continue in the 2014 spring semester with a new lineup of performers.
