Chapel Concert Series Presents 4 Trinity
09.26.12 |
Lebanon Valley College's Chapel Concert Series and Hispanic Heritage Celebration will feature hip-hop group 4 Trinity Saturday, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. in Miller Chapel. Together for 10 years, 4 Trinity is comprised of three young men, Max, ReeZee, and Miza, who perform diverse music genres to appeal to many different kinds of people. The band uses both Spanish and English in their music to entertain audiences as well as to praise and worship.

LVC student Cassondra Diaz will open for the band with a 30-minute set of worship songs in both English and Spanish. Advance tickets are available for $6; $10 at a door. Call the Office of Spiritual Life at 717-867-6135 to order tickets.

"4 Trinity's incorporation of their Latino heritage within their hip-hop music results in a unique sound and a lively cultural experience," stated Paul Fullmer, Chaplain at Lebanon Valley College. "We're particularly pleased that this concert will serve as part of our celebration of Hispanic heritage at the College. An endowment at the College dedicated to diversity in programming has also contributed to what promises to be a wonderful Saturday evening."

4 Trinity is based out of Lancaster and Allentown, Pa., but has built a loyal fan base by touring throughout the United States and Canada. The group performs at venues large and small, including various music festivals around the nation. Most notably, 4 Trinity has performed alongside Hillsong United, Israel Houghton & New Breed, Pastor Matthew Barnett, and Preston Centuolo.

4 Trinity's albums include "4T Days & 4T Nights," released in 2008, and "Global Warning," released in 2010. The group is currently working on a self-titled album that will be released at the end of 2012. For a concert preview, visit the "Live at LVC" playlist at www.youtube.com/lebanonvalleycollege.

Diaz will complete her bachelor's degree in music education at the College in May 2014. Her exceptionally strong soprano voice has served the College's highly exclusive Chamber Choir for the past two years.

The Hispanic Heritage Celebration at LVC (Sept. 20 – Nov. 3) is coordinated by faculty of LVC's Languages Department and features special lectures, art exhibits, and films which are open to the community.

The Chapel Concert Series will continue with Talain Rayne Nov. 14. Admission to the shows is free to LVC students with their college ID. Tickets for non-students are $6 in advance, $10 at the door. Advance orders for groups of 10 people or more are $4 per person and church youth group tickets are $2 per student.
