Comedian Dave Coulier, aka “Uncle Joey” from ABC’s hit television series “Full House,” headlines the fall 2012 entertainment line-up at Lebanon Valley College, which includes a variety of comedians and a mentalist duo.
In addition to a stand-up comedy career, Coulier has appeared in many television programs and reality shows, and is highly regarded for his voice-over talent in “The Muppet Babies,” “Felix the Cat,” and “Robot Chicken.” He is scheduled to perform at the End of the Year Bash on December 7 at 9 p.m. in the Arnold Sports Center.
The fall entertainment programming kicks off September 7 with comedian Tom Cotter, who is currently competing on “America’s Got Talent.” Cotter won the grand prize at the Boston Comedy Festival and was voted “Best Stand-Up” at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival. His high-energy routine has his audiences rolling in the aisles.
The laughter continues September 14 with comedian Kelly Taylor, a Saskatchewan native and former hockey player who gave up his athletic career to follow his dream. With the physical attributes of a high school quarterback and the comedic commitment of Jerry Lewis, this comedian is taking the comedy world by storm.
LVC welcomes Ronnie Jordan and his “College Material Tour” to campus for a September 21 show, and follows up the next week with “Last Comic Standing” semi-finalist Pete Lee on September 28.
After fall break, Jeff and Tessa Evason, a husband-and-wife mentalist duo takes the stage for an unforgettable performance on October 13. Their surprising telepathic feats have been featured on “The World’s Greatest Magic” and “Powers of the Paranormal.”
The comedy routines return the following month with a November 9 show by KT Tatara, whose brutally honest comedy offers unique insights into topics like gender roles and race. Two-time College Comedian of the Year Adam Ace performs November 16 with a show full of audience interaction and unique improvisation.
